Good fit / Bad fit for
REI Co-Op Kingdom Rocker Rocking Camp Chair is a heavy one. It weighs more than 14 lbs. as listed above and this makes it difficult to carry around. However, this chair is probably one of the most comfortable rocking camp chair on the market. Ideally, it is a perfect design to be a car camping rocking chair or just be used in your backyard. I often see people use rocking chairs in concerts, festivals or sports events. For such purposes, I would say this chair would be an OK choice.
Since this rocking camp chair does not have armrests, it is a good fit for big fellas. It also supports up to 300 lbs. But you should keep in mind that using a rocking chair for long hours will eventually wear it out.
REI Co-Op Kingdom Rocker is a foldable camp chair but it’s not a backpacking or bikepacking chair. It’s not impossible to attach the folded rocking camp chair to your backpack or bike but it would be extremely difficult to keep going with this chair. Plus, the weight of this chair is another no-no for backpackers or bikepackers.
